Finally
Man, it's been almost a month since I've written on this thing. December is a very busy month for me. But now that it's almost over I can breath a sigh of relief. Things at work are slowing down and things at home are settling back to normal. This is why people make New Year's resolutions, because they have extra time to work on themselves. But somehow life always manages to get back in the way. Do you have a New Year's resolution? I almost always have the same ones, but I actually knocked a couple off my list this year. I quit smoking (almost 5 months!) and I started losing weight and excersizing (a little more to go). So what now? I need to get out of retail, maybe that would be a good one. That'll take more than a year though, especially if I go back to school. How about this, I will actively begin the process of pursuing an actual career. Something I want to do the rest of my life. Now, who wants to tell me what that is? My problem, like alot of Americans, is I want instant gratification. I dont' mind hard work, but it's hard to start something that you know will take a long time to accomplish, but what's the alternative? Working in retail forever, not what I want to do. I just need a truck load of money to fall on my front lawn, that would certainly help.
Anywho, I hope everyone had a good holiday and got all the goodies they were hoping for. My favorite present this year: The Beatles White Album on CD. Can you believe I've only ever had it on cassette? Neither can I. And I call myself a fan. Peace out.
